I recently discovered the relation of Saptshloki Durga prayer and astrology while researching on stotras and remedies. It has a connection with astrology and consists of seven verses. The prayer begins with Lord Shiva asking Goddess Durga for the simplest puja to overcome sins, sorrows, and karmas. Devi advises him that Saptshloki Durga is a strotra that can fulfill all desires in Kaliyuga.

The first verse of Saptshloki Durga signifies great knowledge and maya, which Devi created to misguide bad humans. The verse represents lagna and indicates that a person with malefic planets in lagna may face difficulty in making good decisions. To overcome the ill effects of a bad lagna, one can chant this first mantra from Saptshloki Durga.

ॐ ज्ञानिनामपि चेतांसि देवी भगवती हिसा ।
बलादाकृष्य मोहाय महामाया प्रयच्छति ।।१।।

The Second verse of Saptshloki Durga stands for overcoming the ill effects of 2nd house and have enough potential to give you all the materialstic things.

दुर्गे स्मृता हरसि भीतिमशेषजन्तोः
स्वस्थैः स्मृता मतिमतीव शुभां ददासि ।
दारिद्र्‌यदुःखभयहारिणि त्वदन्या
सर्वोपकारकरणाय सदार्द्रचित्ता ॥२॥

The third mantra give you strength and makes you strong to gain all the purushartha. If any one have bad planets in 3rd house they can chant this regularly and offer flower’s with this mantra to ma durga. This practice can solve your all problems related to 3rd house.

सर्वमंगलमंगल्ये शिवे सर्वार्थसाधिके ।
शरण्ये त्र्यम्बके गौरि नारायणि नमोऽस्तुते ॥३॥

The fourth House of horoscope stands for all the comforts of life and also indicates mother of native and divine mother also. 4th house is 1st house of moksha trikona that’s why it also stands for sharnagati. If any one continously chant the 4th mantra of the divine strotra cleanse natives mana and gives him sharnagati of devi.

शरणागतदीनार्तपरित्राणपरायणे ।
सर्वस्यार्तिहरे देवि नारायणि नमोऽस्तुते ॥४॥

Rest all mantras are respectively signifies 5th, 6th, and 7th houses of the horoscopes and overcomes the ill effects of house by chanting the mantras.
